What’s your new normal?

Your business has been impacted. How the work gets done is different now and may continue to be that way for the foreseeable future. Arguably, some of the biggest challenges are still ahead of us as we try to figure out how to bring back our businesses in full force while a vaccine is a long way away and our economies are still reeling.

This is the time to reimagine what your new normal will be.

For us it’s been having a start-up mindset. We imagine that we are in that period of about five years ago when we first started up. From that perspective, we are already way ahead of the game given what we know, the infrastructure we already have in place, and the experience we have gained. It’s a matter of adapting and pivoting as fast as you can.

It’s the time to take a fresh look at your strategic plan and how you operate.

What will your plan need to incorporate to ensure that your organization is more resilient when the next crisis occurs? Work from home for example may have not been part of how you would normally operate, but it may now be a standard going forward. 60% of businesses surveyed by McKinsey in early April said that their new remote sales models were proving as much (29%) or more effective (31%) than traditional channels.

Now is the time to reflect, reimagine, reconsider and make the changes to adapt and thrive. So, what’s your new normal going to be?
