Compass One Healthcare (U.S. headquarters in Philadelphia, PA and a division of the Compass Group, CMPGF) has seven lines of business under two company brands, Crothall and Morrison. The positioning for their lines of business is that they help their clients “improve the patient experience.” Although it is currently a very successful position, their competitors are now increasingly saying the same thing. The challenge was to develop their “next story” and more importantly, a more powerful strategic value proposition to differentiate Compass One and help ensure they continue to firmly dominate the competition in the years to come.
Long & Short of It facilitated strategy & ideation sessions to create the “next story” which resulted in the development of a new product and service called Compass One Connect. This will now serve as the basis of not only their differentiating story, but also as a platform that will set the stage for helping them secure their ongoing market dominance. This initiative resulted in the creation of a new department and development of new capabilities that are now being operationalized. We look forward to the ongoing outcome of this initiative that will help Compass One continue to be the market leader for years to come.
